Salt Lake Tribune: Open-Source Advocates Question SCO’s Cyber-Terrorism Claim

“SCO insisted Thursday that ‘a highly sophisticated” DoS strike
was responsible for derailing the company’s Web site beginning
early Wednesday. The site remained down as of late Thursday.
Periodic problems with e-mail and file transfer applications also
were noted.

“‘In the past, we reported these attacks to the FBI. This time,
we’re working with the Secret Service,’ said Jeff Carlon, SCO’s
worldwide information technology infrastructure director. ‘This is
a global attack against a domestic company…'”
