Shevirah Moving Forward for Enterprise Mobile Pen Testing [VIDEO]

Georgia Weidman is a well known figure in mobile security circles, thanks in part to her work on the open source Smartphone Pentest Framework project. Now Weidman is turning her attention to the enterprise with a new startup called Shevirah, that emerged from the Mach37 Cybersecurity accelerator program earlier this year.

In a video interview with eSecurityPlanet Weidman explains how she helps train people to learn about mobile security. While there are some automated tools for security researchers, Weidman emphasizes that it’s important to understand the core principles of how systems work.
