Yesterday I found information in the official Ubuntu
Wiki which teaches users how to enable the root account, this
information goes directly against that which is supported and
advocated by Canonical and Ubuntu in general. So, I removed the
information only to find someone had added it back. I removed it
again and it was added back…“Notice Kees’s signature line and his email address is from
Canonical. Wow, it seems that the Ubuntu Security Team doesn’t
abide by their own security methods despite all of the warnings
plastered all over the Root Sudo page telling users that this is a
dangerous practice. “
