A security hole was discovered in the package mentioned above.
Please update it as soon as possible or disable the service if you
are using this software on your SuSE Linux installation(s).

Other Linux distributions or operating systems might be affected
as well, please contact your vendor for information about this
issue.

1. Problem Description

The qpop 2.53 does not check the mail header for invalid
input.

2. Impact

An attacker could send a mail with a malicously formated mail
header to a person, that reveives it’s mail via qpop 2.53, to
execute code with the privileges of user ‘mail’ at the qpop
server.

3. Solution

Update the package from our FTP server.
