Due to the unfortunate
compromise
of the FTP site where TCP Wrappers (and other Unix
tools) are located, the author, Wietse Venema, h as chosen to move
the files to a different server.

Here is Wietse’s announcement, as posted to BUGTRAQ:

The FTP security tools archive at my former employer, Eindhoven
University of Technology, was compromised last week and has been
dismantled. The files have been moved to a different machine.

The present location of my security tools archive is:

    ftp://ftp.porcupine.org/pub/security/index.html

Sites that mirror my tools are requested to update the procedures.

I wish to express my gratitude to my former employer, Eindhoven
University, for making possible the development and distribution
of the TCP Wrapper and other software, and my appreciation for the
support effort from system administrators of the department of
mathematics and computing science.

        Wietse
