“Microtest, Inc., a leading developer of storage and application
appliances for computer networks, has formed a strategic alliance
with the Tokyo Electro Acoustics Company (TEAC) to market a new
line of network attached storage appliances. TEAC’s Data Storage
Product Division (DSPD), responsible for continental Europe, will
embed Microtest’s DiscZerver technology in its new network attached
optical servers. These appliances enable concurrent access to
CD/ROM and DVD media by multiple network and web users.”

“‘Microtest’s Linux-based storage appliance solutions
ideally complement the TEAC range of products,
as we can now
provide network-based workgroups and enterprises with unrestricted,
high performance access to CD and DVD data and applications,’
explained Ted Oikawa, Division Manager TEAC DSPD.”

“Microtest is a leading worldwide developer of network test and
measurement products and network storage appliances.”
