“Dunn Computer Corporation (Nasdaq: DNCC) announced today it
received its first significant order for its fibre channel storage
subsystem. The disk subsystem is the one featured by Dunn in its
e-novation series of cluster servers. Along with the storage
solution, Dunn is supplying Cisco gigabit technology. The customer
will use the products to run a Linux-based mapping system with
large data and bandwidth requirements.
Dunn’s fibre channel
disk subsystems start at $200,000 and can be configured to sell for
$1,000,000 or more.”

“”We’re seeing increased demand for server solutions,
particularly at the high-end of the market where data throughput
and availability is crucial,” said James Bond, Vice President of
Product Development for Dunn. “Our fibre channel disk arrays are
completely redundant with no single point of failure and scalable
up to 35 terabytes. They are ideal for applications such as
e-commerce, messaging or clustered environments where shared access
to distributed resources are required.””
