“GENROCO, Inc. (GENROCO) (OTC Bulletin Board: GRCI) will be
exhibiting its Network Independent Storage Area Network (SAN)
solutions at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in
Las Vegas, Nevada April 8-13. Taking part in the Fiber Channel
Industry Association (FCIA) booth No. M9240 at the Sands Convention
Center, GENROCO will display its TURBOstor(R) and TURBOfibre(R)
family of storage and networking products. These high-speed
communication and bridge-to-storage offerings build upon GENROCO’s
expertise in high bandwidth and quality file transfer
technology.”

“The GENROCO TURBOstor SAN allows clients on traditional wide
area networks (WAN) or local area networks (LAN) including Gigabit
Ethernet (GigE), OC48, HIPPI, Fibre Channel (FC) and GSN, to behave
like FC SAN clients with direct access to FC storage using standard
file systems and access methods. GENROCO offers software
drivers for most networks supported on Compaq Tru64 UNIX, Sun
Solaris, IBM AIX, Hewlett-Packard HP-UX, SGI IRIX, open Linux, and
Windows based computer systems.”

“These network independent products allow LAN/WAN use of the
SCSI protocol, while providing wire-speed performance with very low
latency. For example, clients on an OC48 WAN can connect to a Fibre
Channel SAN and operate exactly like clients on that SAN with 90
megabyte per second FC transfers and 10% typical CPU utilization.
This is done without the need for servers between the remote
platforms and the storage via direct memory to memory
transfers.”
