Automotive Grade Linux Hits the Road

The first release of Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) (http://automotive.linuxfoundation.org/) is out today, providing car vendors with an open-source platform on which to embed applications and features.

AGL is run as a collaboration project by the Linux Foundation and officially launched in September of 2012 and currently has 32 members including Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Jaguar and Intel among its roster
