32 Bits Online: Running X11 applications remotely

“I am a PowerPC user. I prefer MacOS over Windows at any time.
However, whenI want to feel like a real geek, experimenting with
Linux is the best and cheapest solution.

“Most Linux applications come as source code and need to be
compiled. Usually, they will compile on PPC without problems. But
some Linux applications, notably Star Office, come as a
pre-compiled binary, as we’re familiar with MacOS or Windows
applications. However, these are usually available for Intel only,
thus I’d need an Intel box to run them.

does it offers its services (windows, buttons, etc.) to local
applications, but also to applications running on other machines on
the network.”
