Computer Corporation plans to make available the Cygnus
Professional Linux Developers Kit online to members of the Compaq
Solutions Alliance (CSA). Cygnus GNUPro Toolkit for Linux, Cygnus
Source-Navigator for Linux, and future Linux software development
products from Cygnus will be available to more than 3,500
independent software vendors, consultants and systems integrators
who are members of the CSA program. Cygnus is also offering CSA
members the industry’s first Linux support package for GNUPro
tools. Given the growing demand for Linux products, any software
developer, software consultant, or system integrator can evaluate
Cygnus’ Linux products at the CSA Test Drive New Technologies web
site (www.compaq.com/csa/). Members can
then link to Cygnus to purchase the software at special
pricing.
GNUPro Toolkit for Linux is a complete software development
toolsuite for C and C++ programmers (the only fully supported
Linux-based C and C++ development environment). Addressing the
needs of the growing Linux community, Cygnus GNUPro Toolkit for
Linux, is targeted at software engineers developing commercial
applications on the Linux operating system (OS). Cygnus GNUPro is
the only commercially viable Linux software development
toolsuite.
Source-Navigator Enterprise edition is a source code editor and
analysis tool for Linux and other platforms that makes creating,
migrating, re-engineering, reusing code, or understanding Y2K (year
