Subject: [S.u.S.E. Announce] SuSE Linux 6.0 - Public Beta available NOW!

Hi,

I'm happy to announce the first public beta of SuSE Linux 6.0! :)

It's available at ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/SuSE-Beta/6.0

If you install any package, note that we can NOT GIVE ANY SUPPORT
for your system - no matter if you update a SuSE Linux partially
or do a complete new installation.

If you are curious and would like to help us to find the bugs, you're
very welcome. Please send bug reports to bugs@suse.de with the
subject "Bug report for SuSE Beta 6.0-BETA" - but
please don't expect, that we can answer to all mails.

If you want to talk about this distribution with others, you can
subscribe on the mailing list suse-beta-e@suse.com. Use the form
at http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/index.html, or send a mail
to majordomo@suse.com with 'susbscibe suse-beta-e' in it's body.

Use this distribution at your own risk!

The easiest way to install it, is to download

        ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/SuSE-Beta/6.0/disks/eide01

dd the image to a floppy:

        dd if=eide01 of=/dev/fd0

Boot with this floppy and choose ftp as installation medium. You also
can mirror the hole directory and make a NFS install from your mirror.

Thanks for your help!
