On the newsgroup comp.os.linux.announce, Richard Stallman writes:

[Please forward and re-post this wherever appropriate]

The GNU project is thinking about maintaining a web page for
listings of jobs (employment, rather than contracts) to work on
free software. One question arose: would there be enough such job
offers to make the page useful? I’d like to make an empirical
measurement of that.

So if you have a job opening *right now* for developing or
maintaining software, and all the software to be developed or
maintained would be free, please send me email. If the number of
responses is sufficient, and if other things work out, we’ll launch
this page.
