Internet Week: Y2K Fix Overrides Outdated PCs

The About Time Group, an Atlanta start-up, has introduced PCfix
2000, a software fix for PCs that fail Y2K tests.

The software works each time a PC boots up, intercepting the
date from the CMOS clock and passing it on to the BIOS and
operating system.

It works with DOS, OS/2, Windows 3.1, Windows 95 and Windows 98,
as well as Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0. Unix and Linux versions are
being considered.

Now why do I feel that the __demand__ for a Linux version is
really starting to build up? 🙂
