Linux Gazette: Evaluating postgreSQL for a Production Environment

Of all the SQL database servers which run on Linux, PostgreSQL
is the only one with a completely open-source license. It has
become, in the past couple of years, a relatively robust
implementation of SQL.

The author of this article relates his practical experience with
Foxbase, Clipper, FoxPro and Wang PACE to the features he needs on
PostgreSQL to implement production applications.
