Network Computing: From the Gift Horse’s Mouth

Japanese startup Vsync Technology is expected to sell an
Internet refrigerator next year.

It is expected to run Linux in final production (“new beverage
has been added; recompile the kernel to make beverage available”).
It’s got a 333-MHz Pentium II processor, 128 MB of memory and a
3.2-GB hard drive. (I wonder if it comes with a hot spare.)
