“Corel Thursday launched a services program to help a business
implement and integrate its Linux offerings.
Staff for the Linux Professional Services Program were
obtained through the company’s recently acquired stake in
Philadelphia-based Linux service provider LinuxForce, said
Jeff Bennett, director of technical and professional services at
Corel.
‘We’ve purchased 33 percent of LinuxForce, which also has a
California branch and is opening an office in Boulder, Colorado,’
Bennett said. ‘By having a stake in that company, we now have a
services organization [for Linux].’ “
