“Adding force to allegations made when Linuxcare ‘s CEO left
that company in April, a former employee has charged that he was
subject to sexual harassment and worse during his brief tenure
there.“
“Matthew Bowen, 28, is suing the San Francisco-based software
company and its former CEO Fernand Sarrat in California Superior
Court alleging, in one of six separate claims, that he was the
subject of “quid pro quo” sexual harassment and sexual assault by
Sarrat. The complaint also alleges that Linuxcare created a hostile
environment in which sexual harassment could flourish, that the
company retaliated against Bowen when he complained about Sarrat’s
alleged harassment and that it failed to prevent discrimination or
harassment in its workplace.”
“Bowen is seeking $2 million in damages.”
