Let us say that again, because it sounds so cool: over 10 million Raspberry Pi units have been sold until now. Congrats to the Raspberry Pi Foundation for changing our lives as we know them and give us the world’s first smallest, low-cost SBC (Single-board computer) to build our most innovative projects. You know, Raspberry Pi is behind some of the major experiments. It’s used in space, on the International Space Station, by NASA’s astronauts as part of the Astro Pi project, it’s used in many of our home appliances, including the soon-to-be-released, Ubuntu Snappy-based Mycroft, promising A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) to everyone, and many others.
