2016 Will Be an Exciting Year for Linux Mint, Says Clement Lefebvre

In January 2016, the Linux Mint team will release the final builds of the Linux Mint KDE 17.3 and Linux Mint Xfce 17.3 editions, along with the upgrade paths for users of the 17.x branches. Immediately after, they will start working on the next major series of the Linux Mint operating system, version 18, which promises fantastic new features, such as a brand-new package base, new init system, GTK3 support, and fresh new look.
