Powered by Linux kernel 4.4.8 LTS, 4MLinux 18.0 has been declared stable and ready to become your daily driver. It comes with a lot of goodies for fans of the open source ecosystem, among which we can mention support for installing the LibreOffice 5.2 office suite and GIMP 2.8.16 image editor. Additional applications include the Mozilla Firefox 47.0 and Chromium 51.0.2704.79 web browsers, Mozilla Thunderbird 45.1.1 email and news client, Audacious 3.7.2 and aTunes 3.1.2 music players, Skype 4.3.0.37 VoIP client, as well as VLC Media Player 2.2.4 and MPlayer SVN-r37852 video players.
