4MLinux 20.0 was officially released a month ago, on the first day of November, and it’s currently the most advanced version of the Linux-based operating system, shipping with the long-term supported Linux 4.4 kernel and many recent GNU/Linux technologies and Open Source software applications. The developer usually doesn’t do point releases of his 4MLinux operating system, but this time a minor maintenance update was needed for the enablement of PAE (Physical Address Extension) support, which “magically” disappeared in the 4MLinux 20.0 release, according to Zbigniew Konojacki.
