a spin because I went through a mildly paranoid phase when it came
to privacy and security, living in Washington DC can do that to
you.“But I always gave up after a little while. Sometimes, I never
got past the installer. With distros that I got to install, I was
flummoxed by how the distros handled file dependencies. Ubuntu has
changed that, and I now feel confident enough to use it for a lot
of day to day tasks as well as using it as a media server at home.
But, six months hasn’t turned me into a evangelist but rather a
Linux pragmatist…”
