“Having recently completed my undergraduate degree in BSc (Hons)
Computer Science (Software Engineering), I have noticed that there
seems to be a lack of education about what has become–at least in
my opinion–a huge part of everyday life for computing
professionals; that is, open source. I suggest that now is the time
for educational institutions to look at the possibility of offering
a degree in open source, perhaps BSc (Hons) Open Source Computing,
or something similar.

source, I do not merely mean a degree that teaches the use of open
source tools and software…”
