AllLinuxDevices: Agenda Computing Set to Launch Linux Handheld at COMDEX Chicago

“Despite a bumpy road to launch, Agenda Computing, producers of
the Linux-based VR3 PDA, have announced they’ll be launching the
product as a consumer device at COMDEX Chicago next month. Another
Linux handheld, the Yopy, is also currently in developer release,
but if Agenda computing hits its April launch date, it will likely
be the first-ever Linux handheld device available for retail
purchase.”

“According to the company, at release time there will be two
models: the VR3 and VR3r. Both will have 16MB of flash RAM, support
seven languages, provide support for communicating with infrared
printers. The devices will come in three colors/case styles: slate
blue, black, and transparent.”

“The handhelds are expected to retail for $250 (MSRP).”
