  NET+Lxä, a development platform for Internet Appliances,
  running uClinux, which was ported by Red Hat to NetSilicon’s
  NET+ARM processor.”

  “Changes that Transmeta is making to the specifications of its
  Crusoe microprocessors have forced FIC to delay its Aqua 3200, it
  has emerged.”

  LinuxWorld.com.au: Linux-Powered Robots
  “We tested with a logic analyser on the serial port and found that
  the time between communications packets was about 180ms under
  Windows, whereas under Linux it came down to 8 – 20ms,” said
  Brusey. Given the complexity of the robot’s operations, a speed
  increase of 900 per cent will always translate to better overall
  performance.”

  PR: Cylink’s SAFER+ Algorithm Provides User Authentication for
  Bluetooth
  “More than 1,700 companies support the Bluetooth protocol. With
  Bluetooth-enabled devices, a wireless personal area network (PAN)
  for mobile commerce can easily be created using peripheral devices,
  notebooks or handheld computers, smart telephones, and even vending
  machines. The SAFER+ algorithm is one section of the Bluetooth
  protocol. The algorithm enables one user to send a test message to
  a recipient for encryption and compare the returned encrypted
  message with his own encryption of the test message. A perfect
  match verifies the recipient’s authenticity.”
