“The Spanish firm openSistemas has released a port of Gentoo
Linux for PDAs under the GPL license. This achievement allows to
incorporate almost all Gentoo software packages into ARM based
PDAs.

Gentoo For Zaurus simplifies the development of software for
PDAs. It uses XFree86 as it’s main graphical environment, contrary
of what is commonly used on Zaurus. This way, many software
available for standard desktop linux boxes can be executed
unmodified on Zaurus…”
