“M-Systems Flash Disk Pioneers Ltd. (Nasdaq:FLSH) Wednesday
announced that LynuxWorks, a leader in embedded Linux and a pioneer
in the open standards real-time operating system (RTOS) industry,
is providing support for DiskOnChip with its BlueCat Linux embedded
operating system (OS).”

BlueCat Linux offers embedded developers the support of
M-Systems’ DiskOnChip rugged flash storage solution for the harsh
environments associated with embedded computing applications
ranging from military systems to Internet appliances.”

“M-Systems’ DiskOnChip further supports the compatible and
complementary operating systems offered by LynuxWorks — BlueCat
Linux the open-source or the LynxOS(R) real-time operating system
— without incurring additional development time or cost normally
involved in changing OSs.”
