“Don’t be surprised if you see the computer at your
neighbourhood library sporting a desktop that looks somewhat
different from the usual Microsoft fare on your next visit, for it
could be one of the computers running the Linux operating system
which the National Library Board (NLB) is trying out for the next
three months.

“Last week, the NLB awarded a tender worth about $14,000 to
Resolvo Systems, a local open source solutions provider, for the
deployment of 21 Novell Linux Enterprise Server licences and 220
Novell Linux Desktop licences…”
