Audacity 2.1.1 adds support for seeking and scrubbing, as well as backwards playback. There’s also support for finding a precise position in the audio file thanks to the latest updates to Quick-Play. It is now possible to install plugins without having to restart the application, as well as to add and remove generators and effects from the menus. Additionally, Audacity 2.1.1 introduces faster processing of edits when working with longer projects that have durations of a few hours.
