“Assuming you’ve read parts one and two of this feature, by now
you’ll be familiar with some of the pros and cons of Linux and how
it compares with Windows. Well, you’re a lot more prepared than I
was when I installed it. I’m the sort of person who gets a new toy
and dispenses with the instructions immediately, with variable
results.

“And so it was with Linux, to some extent. I did download 300
pages of the instruction manual for SuSE Latest News about SuSE
Linux, the ‘distro’ I picked, but I’d be a liar if I said I read
them. I also had some pre-warning that the system may have ‘issues’
with internal modems, CD players and other hardware…”
