to turn a program idea into a business. It’s an opportunity to take
some of the enthusiasm generated at LinuxFest and apply it toward
possible business ventures, said Dennis King, a shareholder of BIG
Idea Lab, a Bellingham incubator for high-tech firms.‘(Linux) gives more opportunities for people to take a great
idea and develop it into a business,’ said King, noting that the
free tools in the Linux operating system allows for inexpensive
startups. Today entrepreneurs can get things going with just a
computer and an Internet connection, he said.”
