publishers of Linux Journal, Friday announced a strategic alliance
to create a series of global conferences and expositions for the
Linux community.”

“The announcement came after several months of planning during
which time Linux Journal selected Advanstar as the leading
event-management company with which to partner.”

represents a milestone accomplishment for the global Linux
community,” said Carlie Fairchild, Linux Journal’s marketing and
