“Andover.Net…the Internet’s leading Linux destination, today
announced it has raised $10 million in mezzanine financing from TA
Associates of Boston, Mass. In addition to the capital investment,
TA Associates Principal Jonathan M. Goldstein joins Andover.Net’s
board of directors. Having acquired three strategic Internet
properties in the last three months, this latest round of funding
will help Andover.Net complete additional acquisitions and expand
its presence in the growing Linux market.”

highlighted by the acquisitions of Slashdot and Freshmeat,” said
Bruce Twickler, president and CEO of Andover.Net. “This round of
financing from TA Associates will help us develop our existing
