Applix, Inc…the leader in Linux application software
announces the free availability of the Beta test version of Applix
WebInsight.

“With WebInsight, customers are able to measure the
effectiveness of their Internet and intranet web sites using
comprehensive business analytics. WebInsight allows customers to
determine what their web visitors do at their site, how long they
spend there, and where they come from. The results are available
both graphically and in table form. With this information,
customers can tailor their websites to provide the best and most
complete experience for their user community.”

“Unique to WebInsight, customers can also perform full ad-hoc
analysis of their web usage data using Applix’s included
multidimensional on line analytical processor (OLAP) engine, iTM1.
This OLAP facility enables WebInsight customers to perform
multidimensional analysis of web site traffic and visitor
interaction data. Customers can determine, for example how visitors
from different countries navigate their web site. They can even
gain a perspective on which web pages are most attractive to
visitors from specific companies. To provide the richest possible
interface, WebInsight displays its information using a full
featured spreadsheet.”
