BW: Caldera Systems Joins the Distributed Management Task Force

“Caldera Systems, Inc., the “Linux for Business and Linux for
eBusiness” leader today announced that it has joined the
Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) as an associate
member.”

“The DMTF is the leading non-profit organization setting and
creating new standards for computer systems management. DMTF
membership includes most of the largest software and systems
vendors in the world….”

“In joining the DMTF, Caldera Systems seeks to leverage the
standards established by industry leaders,” said Drew Spencer, vice
president of Development for Caldera Systems, Inc. This will
insure the successful integration of Linux platforms into existing
and future network infrastructures.
