“Compaq…has partnered with Sair…the nation’s leader in Linux
training material and certification examinations, to become a Sair
Internal Training Organization (ITO). Compaq will train its key
personnel worldwide with Sair Linux and GNU Certification (SLGC)
materials.

“Compaq has made a commitment to Linux and wants to ensure that
key personnel within its worldwide organization are well-versed in
Linux,” said Kevin Seddon, vice president of operations for Sair,
Inc. “SLGC is recognized nationally as the most comprehensive Linux
training and certification program available, making it the ideal
solution to meet Compaq’s corporate needs.”

“Compaq’s Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) program requires a
Linux certification upon entrance into the Compaq ASE Linux
certification track. The Sair Linux certification is now recognized
as a component of the Compaq ASE Linux certification. “We at Sair
are eager to embrace the challenge of helping develop that program
and look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership with Compaq,”
said Seddon.”
