“CRYPTOCard and Red Hat (R), Inc. today announced the shipping
of CRYPTOCard’s CRYPTOAdmin(TM) 4.0 authentication server with the
application CD that ships with Red Hat Linux 6.1. With this
solution, Red Hat customers can affordably build token-based
authentication into VPNs, firewalls, and secure extranets to
effectively guard against network intrusion. Today’s announcement
of a free upgrade to strong authentication – for ten users to start
– should boost industry momentum for hosting security servers on
Red Hat Linux.”

“CRYPTOCard is a company based on open development and industry
standards,” says Dr. Tony Walker, CRYPTOCard’s vice president of
development. “We expect that the number of companies choosing
to move their security servers onto Red Hat Linux will increase
dramatically in the near term.
Now that one of the world’s
leading authentication servers ships with Red Hat Linux 6.1, the
advantages for doing so have never been greater.”
