“ObjectSpace, a leading provider of business-to-business
infrastructure software products and services, announced today that
it has provided Earthcars.com, a nationwide automotive Web systems
provider, with B2B infrastructure products and consulting
services.”

“Earthcars.com has established a niche by providing automotive
dealers with a Web-based inventory and lead management system that
allows them to easily provide customers up-to-date, detailed
vehicle information for pre-owned, as well as new model
vehicles.”

“Anticipating the need to support, on average, 500 to 2,000
unique visitor sessions per day for thousands of dealers
nationwide, Earthcars.com required an infrastructure solution that
was not only flexible and neutral, but could scale to support a
host of current and future services.
New services, such as
QuoteFactory, EarthChat, DigiAd System, LeadMachine and
CyberCarLots, will be added to the Earthcars.com platform later
this year. All of these needs required the powerful duo of an
Oracle database backed by the Linux OS in conjunction with
Enterprise Java Beans for the core business logic.
After
reviewing ObjectSpace and two other top B2Bi companies,
Earthcars.com selected ObjectSpace.”
