“Flashpoint allows for easy transition from classic application
development to Web application development, and is available for
Free Download”

“Boulder Software Foundry, Inc. today announced the release of
Flashpoint Application Server Technology (“Flashpoint”) version
1.3, an innovative Web application server for Red Hat Linux and
Solaris.”

“Flashpoint is a fast, high-volume multi-threaded Web
application server whose open source API layer allows for the use
of any server-side language, such as Java, Perl, C or C++, as well
as any markup language, such as HTML, XML, Java/Java Script, and
DHTML. With Flashpoint, developers no longer need to suffer the
performance penalty caused by CGI in order to insert dynamic
information into the application’s web page. Also Flashpoint’s
open-source API makes it easy to connect to any SSL Library (SSLeay
code already available).”
