“Helius satellite-data access technology is available with
the new SLX Series Linux-based embedded platform from Motorola

Computer Group. Helius satellite interface technology is also
available to systems integrators such as Fujitsu and Mitsubishi
Electric under a previously announced agreement with Japanese
trading giant ITOCHU.”

“At LinuxWorld today, Helius announced it has developed its
satellite-data access technology to work with MCG’s SLX Series
Linux-based embedded computing platform, which was announced
Monday.”

“The SLX Series is a platform that delivers Internet networking
applications — such as Web access, Web security, Web caching and
virtual private networks (VPNs). This new product line targets
telecommunications original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that
build networking solutions for ISPs and government and business
organizations requiring cost-effective access to the Internet.”
