“IntraLinux… announced that it is handing out free copies of
SuSE Linux on CDs at the Windows 2000(tm) launch event on February
17 in San Francisco at the Moscone Center.

The free copies of Linux from SuSE, one of the major
Linux distributions, are being handed out in conjunction with
the IntraLinux, Inc. ‘disturbance’
planned in the street
outside the Moscone Center Windows 2000 event.
‘The people at
SuSE have a great product and are wonderful to work with,’ said
IntraLinux CTO Cliff Kemper. ‘While we are building our own Linux
distribution, we want business people to know that our event is in
the cooperative spirit of the Linux community and not just about
our company.’ At the Windows 2000(tm) launch, IntraLinux, Inc. is
trying to help the business community see the strategic value of
open source solutions while bringing some clean fun into a rather
serious and conservative exposition. IntraLinux(tm) representatives
will be handing out free penguin peppermints, stuffed penguins and
Linux(tm) information, along with the free copies of Linux from
SuSE (http://www.suse.com).”
