“Iomega Corporation, a global leader in data management
solutions, today announced it has signed a development support
agreement with Red Hat, to develop Linux support for Iomega drives
in future versions of the company’s IomegaWare software.”

“Linux is one of the fastest growing operating systems in the
server marketplace and we know that it’s extremely important that
we service the growing Linux community,” said Germaine Ward, vice
president of software solutions, Iomega Corporation. “Our agreement
with Red Hat will help us provide native support of Iomega drives
on Linux machines and make our products easy to use in the Linux
environment.”

Users can test a pre-release version of the Linux platform
driver software and submit comments and questions to Iomega.

To download the driver software, users can visit Iomega’s web site
