moved its e-commerce technology infrastructure to a Linux-based
system with the support of Red Hat Inc….”

The Ktel.com site is now running on Red Hat Linux-based
server technology. Using this technology, K-tel Online will launch
its K-tel 2000 Initiative that will integrate far greater user
functionality around a soon-to-be-launched re-designed Web
site.

“The K-tel 2000 Initiative will provide Ktel.com users with a
host of free online services such as Web-based email, free
homepages, and a broad spectrum of new information services as well
as the expansion of its existing online music services.”
