“CynApps Inc. (CynApps) made Cynlib 1.2, the latest version of
its open-source EDA C++ hardware-design class library, available
for downloading today at (www.cynapps.com). This version contains a
number of enhancements that make it richer, easier to use, and
easier to integrate with other EDA tools.”

“Cynlib 1.2 has been enhanced to make it compatible with a
variety of EDA tools from leading vendors.
Added features
include support for VSIA data types, tri-state signals for modeling
buses, Cynlib API which enables the integration of the Cynlib
simulator into existing tools, and expanded design libraries that
enable the quick representation of flops and other low-level
primitives.”

“According to Dr. Sanguinetti, more than 1,000 users have
downloaded Cynlib, a class library and simulator that enables
hardware modeling in C++, since it was first posted on the
company’s website last year. The growth in the number of users
enlisting Cynlib for design work led the company to offer ongoing
support last March, making Cynlib the only open-source class
library complemented by professional support.”
