“IDG World Expo, the world’s leading IT event-management
company, today announced that exhibit space for its popular
LinuxWorld Conference & Expo is sold out. This marks the
fourth-consecutive show LinuxWorld Conference & Expo has sold
out at more than 150,000 square feet. Forty companies remain on a
waiting list for the event, scheduled for August 14-17, 2000,
despite a 60% increase in expo floor space this year.“

“IDG World Expo also indicated today that it must relocate the
next West Coast LinuxWorld event, scheduled for August 27-30, 2001,
to San Francisco to accommodate the rapidly growing number of
exhibitors and attendees. According to Greco, “We are doing
everything we can to accommodate the waiting-list companies this
year, but we’re simply going to need more space next time.”
