Lynx Real-Time Systems, Inc., today announced endorsements
from more than 20 hardware and software vendors in the Linux and
embedded computing industry, including Hewlett-Packard and Motorola
Computer Group. Many of the companies are partnering with Lynx to
announce the availability of their products on BlueCat Linux, Lynx’
embedded Linux product.

“These companies offer the critical additional pieces needed to
build highly reliable systems based on the Lynx family of operating
system products,” said Bill Hogan, president and CEO of Lynx.
“Their endorsements demonstrate our combined commitment to Linux in
the embedded space.”

“The depth of technology represented in these endorsements makes
this Lynx initiative worth watching,” said Paul Zorfass, industry
analyst with IDC/FTI. “Their support, combined with Lynx’ 12-years
of experience in high-end, real-time embedded applications and
development support may be the tools needed to expand the
advantages of Linux into the embedded world.”
