BW: LynxOS Selected for Mid-Range and High-End HP LaserJet Printers

“LynuxWorks, Inc. (formerly Lynx Real-Time Systems), a leader in
embedded Linux software solutions, announced today that
Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HWP) has selected its LynxOS
real-time operating system for mid-range and high-end HP LaserJet
printers.”

“HP chose LynxOS because of LynuxWorks’ proven record for
performance and reliability,” said Sandy Lieske, R&D
Manager.
“LynxOS and LynuxWorks provide an ideal foundation
that will allow HP LaserJet printers to evolve and grow very easily
in the future.”

“We are very pleased that LynxOS was selected for the
development of mid-range and high-end HP LaserJet printers,” says
William Hogan, president of LynuxWorks. “Furthermore, we look
forward to satisfying the requirements of HP’s future innovation in
printing and multifunction product technology with our product
