“MandrakeSoft, publisher of the popular Linux-Mandrake operating
system distribution, today announced it was honored with two
LinuxWorld’s Editors’ Choice Awards for “Best Product of the Year”
and “Best Linux-Distribution/Server,” at LinuxWorld, San Jose,
California.
“The LinuxWorld’s Editors’ Choice Awards recognize
outstanding Linux software, focusing on the innovative use of
Linux to create more effective solutions for Linux users. In
addition, MandrakeSoft was in second position for the “Linux
Distribution/Client” Award.
“LinuxWorld’s panel of judges included LinuxWorld editors and
contributors who evaluated numerous software products based on
innovation, uniqueness, robustness, and performance.”
