“WAVO Corporation (Nasdaq: WAVO) today announced that the
company’s MediaXpress Website content delivery service will now
support both Unix and Linux-based operating systems. MediaXpress
will be available to support Solaris based Unix platforms in
August. A Linux version is currently being beta tested, with a
commercial release expected in October.
Included with both
versions is a JAVA software development kit, allowing for the easy
integration of MediaXpress into the customer’s current
Website.”

“We’re pleased that WAVO has expanded MediaXpress to support
Unix, enabling us to use their superior XML capabilities to add
real-time, relevant news and information on our Website,” said John
Lehman, president of Sageware and a participant in the Unix field
trial. “We’ve had a lot of success with MediaXpress and are
impressed with the content, the ease of integration and exceptional
customer support we have received.”

“MediaXpress is the industry’s leading provider of pre-licensed,
pre-packaged, real-time content, offering brand-name media sources
to Web servers worldwide. Up-to-the-minute news, sports scores,
weather and more are easily incorporated into Web Portals, Internet
sites, corporate Intranets and Extranets with minimal development.
Harnessing the power of XML, the new language of the Internet,
MediaXpress “tags” key story elements (industries, people,
locations, etc.) to provide only the content that is relevant or
desired by the customer. For more information visit
www.MediaXpress.com.”
